PodCurrent Privacy Policy

PodCurrent is a podcast app for iOS and Android. This policy describes the data handled by the app, backend API, and optional external wallet support features.

Data collected

PodCurrent may collect account and device session data, podcast library data, search and feed requests, support and payment metadata, and operational data needed for reliability and security.

PodCurrent does not sell personal data, does not use third-party advertising SDKs in V1, and does not collect contacts, photos, precise location, microphone recordings, or health data for core podcast playback.

External wallet data

Creator support is optional. PodCurrent does not custody user funds. The backend stores payment intent and receipt metadata, not wallet spend secrets or private keys.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account and associated backend data through the in-app deletion path when accounts are enabled. Anonymous device session deletion requests can use the public deletion request path.
